Operations Manager
This position is for someone who delights in organizing, takes the initiative to get things done, and who is also a great teamworker. A candidate, preferably, should have experience in the food industry and want to build career. This position is for an individual who enjoys and excels at working on a diversity of tasks, and is full of life!
Tasks would include:
- Oversee compliance of New Product Labels
- Maintain Organic and Kosher Certifications
- Human Resources and Payroll Functions (via a third party)
- Junior Bookkeeping Functions (Basic Payables and Receivables)
- Manage Insurance Policies (work with accountant, third party insurer)
- Manage Amazon Fulfillment (Maintain inventory on Amazon shop)
- Event Coordination (NASFT Fancy Food Show, Natural Products Expo, Heirloom Expo Santa Rosa, Green Festival)
- Occasional participation/interaction with Trade Associations (NASFT, WUSATA, Green America)
- Contribute to development of Advertising Campaigns
- Service a select number of wholesale accounts
- Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service Managers, as well as Production Facility Manager and Staff
- General Office Management
- Supervise many other projects and happenings as they come up
Organic Sales Manager & Marketing Stratigist
At Living Tree Community Foods we manufacture alive,organic and kosher certified nut butters, oils and chocolates.
We are seeking someone with the following skills:-
Sales to natural food stores: Someone skilled in the art of negotiation with knowledgeable professionals.Someone with a good sense of entrepreneurship.Proficient in working in an intense, fast paced environment.
Marketing: First hand experience with social media marketing and search engine optimization.
Customer service: Processing orders, answering questions, dealing with returns and filing claims. Someone who rejoices in resolving issues.
We are seeking a master of literary composition.Should be able to write clear,concise press releases,newsletters and monographs on live food, health and nutrition.

Regional Sales Rep
We are seeking people in the Vancouver, B.C., New York –
New Jersey, Chicago, Miami and in other major metropolitan areas
to approach natural foodstores, co-ops and live food restaurants
on our behalf. Preferably, should have experience in the food
industry. Should be well organized, charismatic and enthusiastic.
Office Administrator
This is for someone who rejoices in providing outstanding administration and customer service. Who can assist with sales and marketing. Someone with experience in office administration and is familiar with basic bookkeeping.
Someone with experience in resolving issues in finance,banking,taxation,insurance,accounts receivable and accounts payable and so forth. Someone who can prepare scholarly research reports on topics in ecology and nutrition. Who can handle publicity and organize events. Someone who is at home with Mac and PC platforms. Familiarity with html and ability to troubleshoot office equipment would be helpful. This is for a wholehearted team player who is honest, loyal, kind and considerate. Someone with a fine work ethic,who wants to build a career in the organic food industry.
