Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are delighted to say that California Figs are here at last. They are grown by family farmers we've worked with for decades. This is the new crop, just received. Rejoice with your figs!

We are gratified by your response to our Native American Pinenuts. Here's what one knowing customer says:

I have received the pine nuts. Your product is exceptional. I have yet to find a hollow or mildewed nut. I speak with fifty years of experience gathering and consuming those delicious nuggets. I must admit that I was skeptical about doing business with a company unknown to me and somewhat distant from the high elevation pinyon/juniper forests. Everything about my experience with your company has been the very best. I must say, in these days when few are trusted and fewer are worthy of trust, you have impressed me greatly . It is a pleasure working with honorable producers who care about selling superior products. Thanks. I will be back and I will spread the word.

New This Month

New Crop! Organic Black Mission Figs

You've been waiting for these for months. A delicious black fig. Excellent for camping and backpacking. Lends itself to fruit salads too! This is the new crop, grown by California family farmers. Brought to California in 1769.

New! Organic Alive Cashew-Cacao Nib Mix

Here is a mix of our wonderful sun-dried, alive cashews from Bali and truly raw cacao nibs also from Bali. It is sweetened with palm nectar crystals in water and then dehydrated at low temperature.

New! Raw, Organic Cacao Butter- Vacuum Packed

Our alive cacao butter is of outstanding quality, It comes from the island of Bali.Cacao Butter is a key ingredient in making fine chocolate and confections of all sorts.Grate and add to melted cacao paste along with a sweetener such as honey, agave or palm nectar crystals to make a delightful chocolate. Add chopped raisins and dates, maybe chopped mangoes and persimmons too. Pour mixture onto a baking sheet and allow to harden in you refrigerator.
It also makes a great skin care product. Try adding one part grated cacao butter to three parts melted coconut oil. Let it solidify in a wide mouthed jar -- it is great for the skin and will impart an exotic fragrance.

Please bear in mind that is to be used as an ingredient, we do not recommend that it be eaten out of hand. Each round block is 250 g or 9 ounces.

New Crop! Organic Medjool Dates Sundried

A farming family in southern California grows these majestic dates. We rejoice with them. You'll be pleased.

These dates are ceritifed "Antioxidant Rich" by Scientific Certification Systems. Each 100 grams contains at least 100mg phenolics, enough to meet one third of your weekly recommended requirement of antioxidants (300mg)

New! Alive Chocolate Persimmon Rolls

We begin with organic and bio-dynamic certified persimmon leather and add almonds, cashews and raisins. We top it with a layer of raw chocolate to complete the filling. We then roll it ecstatically and dip the whole into our alive chocolate made from 100% raw cacao, carob, mesquite, lucuma, cacao butter and alive honey. We also add maca for energy. Most raw chocolates out there use sugar in one form or another. I’m delighted to say that instead of sugar we use honey. Alive honey has powerful antibacterial properties and is even effective against antibiotic resistant bacteria. It is a complex substance containing over 800 compounds, little understood by conventional science.

We create these alive chocolate, persimmon rolls here in Berkeley, California. It is a wellspring of the human spirit with a rich tradition of Americans who have dared to stand up and speak their truth. Berkeley is a center of original and creative thinking, over 21 Nobel Prize winners have taught here.

New! Alive and Organic Macadamia, Mango, Raisin Chocolate Brittle

I am delighted to say that we have just come out with our own alive chocolate. Beginning with 100% raw cacao, we have added Hawaiian macadamia nuts , mango, carob, mesquite, lucuma, sun-dried raisins, cacao butter and alive honey. We have also added maca for energy.

New Crop! Organic Halawi Dates

These medium sized, golden brown dates have an appetizing, chewy texture. They are sweet with a flavor reminiscent of caramel. Grown by family farmers in southern California.

A case would fit nicely into your refrigerator. Just the thing to wean the kids from candies. Our delight to bring you this uncommon variety.

Cacao is the seed of an Amazonian tree which grows throughout Central and South America. Cacao beans are the source for all Chocolate and Cocoa products.

Cacao is incredibly rich in Magnesium and is most likely the number one source for this essential mineral. Other essential minerals present in Cacao are Calcium, Zinc, Iron, Copper, Sulfur, Magnesium and Potassium. The bean also contains more antioxidant flavanoids than any other food tested - including blueberries, red wine and green tea.

What's New on the World Mind

We are currently featuring a number of articles that challenge conventional thinking on HIV/AIDs. We recommend especially the breakthrough documentary "House of Numbers" and also the excellent discussion by Professor Duesberg of the University of Claifornia, one of the world's leading microbiologists.

We recommend also the series of videos The Swine Flu - One of the Most Massive Cover-ups in American History.

For those concerned with the deadening of our planet we recommend the leading edge article linking the Vanishing of Bees to Cell Phone usage.

As if all this is not comforting and reassuring enough, there is the article "Big Crash Coming."
